Third-party car insurance covers damages caused to another road user. Such insurance will not protect you if an accident has been caused by your car.
Comprehensive car insurance covers the costs of damages of both cars involved if the accident is cause by your car.

The cost of your car insurance is determined by your age, driving experience in Cyprus, the year of manufacture and the engine capacity of your vehicle, and by the type of program: Third-party or Comprehensive car insurance.
Apply for deductibles and reduce the price of your car insurance. The deductible (or excess) is the amount paid by a policy holder upon the occurrence of an insured event. For example, you pay €1,000 to get your car fixed, with an excess equal to €200, a claim payment from insurance company will be €1,000 – €200 = €800.
To purchase auto insurance, you provide us with the following documents: your ID or passport and driver’s license, as well as your car registration number.
